When importing in a part DXF, STEP... files from different suppliers, a huge number of useless layers are created.
Sometimes more than 300 layers: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7......299,300...please see image below.
These layers will be present in all assemblies, sub-assemblies, drawings...not good !
We try to delete most of them with Modelcheck but it should be great to have some config.pro parameters like :
DXF_IN_LAYERS_IMPORT YES/NO
STEP_IN_LAYERS_IMPORT YES/NO
...
