Datum created within sketch feature shown in the model tree as a sub-node of the sketch

Datum created within sketch feature (such as points, axes and coordinate systems) should be shown in the model tree as a sub-node of the sketch feature itself (in the same way as the Datum features created on the fly are embedded into an extrude feature)

Hello Alessandro,

What about if you have 50 points skeched ? Your function could take a lot of place in the tree.

What use of seeing the 50 points in the model tree ?

Kind regards

Nicolas

Hello Nicolas,

The behaviour will be more or less the same as a pattern with 50 instances: if you keep it closed the model tree shows you only one line, but you can expand it and select the first item (for instance). If you can see such datums in the tree, the selecting method will become consistent as all the rest of the datum features (graphical area, search tool and model tree).

Have a nice evening.

Alessandro
