Detail View Note Spacing

Detail View Note Spacing

Current Detail View notes create "DETAIL__X", "SCALE__XX". Users must manually remove the double spacing between detail and letter callout in the view note for every view. Please allow this to be globally set to remove the double spacing.

Also, someone created a mapkey here: (possibly is does more formating, but a mapkey would reduce the edit time)

I see no ASME standard that requires a single space only between the view type and the view callout. The double space does provide some clarity between the view name and the view callout so it doesn't look run together.

According to the duplicate referenced by Stephen, that thread has been closed and marked Archived by PTC. It should have been fixed back in Creo 2.

I am on Creo 4 m080 and I still see the double spaces.

Always state the version and build of your problem, as it may have been fixed in a later release.

Yes, I tried to find any ASME guidelines on this, and found none, but neither does it say a double space shall be there either. We are on Creo 4 M060.

I did do a search before I posted and found the same as your link above, but since you cannot vote on archived ideas I created this one. A mapkey would work, but that's a work around. It's really not that difficult to simply remove the space manually, but as it is wasting time for users I would prefer to have the option to set the format through drawing option, similar to detail_circle_note_text.
