In assemblies or parts it is possible to do some windchill actions by right click on the model tree (check out / lock in workspace.....) In the drawing mode it is not possible. This is very inconsequential from ptc.
Of course you can do this in the workspace (as ptc told). But i think ptc did never test anything with a workspace including more than 10 files. With the menu by clicking on the drawing tree, handling of drawings in workspaces with more than 5 000 files would be easier.
