Pro/BATCH has an extensive library of toolkit tasks that provide valuable functionality. Being able to call Pro/BATCH from PDMLink would provide a convienent means of generating visualization (PDF, IGES, STEP, VRML, ...), running modelcheck, etc on models in PDMLink and workflows.
Currently dbatchc is an executable program that uses a proprietary means of encrypting Windchill credentials in the toolkit task that it passes to dbatchs. The encryption methodology is not available to include in a custom Distributed Services client. Implementing one of the following approaches is needed:
- Java library to call Pro/BATCH against an EPMDocument and specified Toolkit Task Definition.
- OOTB Tookit Task to open an object in PDMLink based upon user arguements.
