Enable dynamic edit in assembly mode.

Current state:

Features added to assembly component are not visible in the assembly until it is regenerated.

According PTC:

Dynamic Edit is available only if auto regeneration is enabled.

Set config.pro option ENABLE_AUTO_REGEN YES

Dynamic Edit is available in part mode only

Request:

Enable Dynamic Edit in asembly mode., so that modification perfomed on the component are visible in the assembly (without regenerating).

How about being able to edit the positions of the components dynamically? (right now you "edit" the component, type in the new dimension values for the placement / rotation of the component, then regenerate to see it and its children in the new place).

This functionality would be very useful for me, as I am often adjusting dimensional values to affect aesthetics.  Dynamic modifications being restricted to part mode only forces me to switch between windows frequently; it would be much better to visualize the assembly as a whole while doing this.

Dynamic Editing Mode is great; and would be even greater if it were available in the context of an assembly...!
