We are a tool and die manufacture and we use the explode view to visually check possible dynamic collision of the strip layout with all the moving parts if various steps of the tool.
The explode view should allow that in each explode state an exploding tree with unlimited sets were the parts/assemblies, the moving reference and the amount moved are saved.
This could be taken even further it the amount moved could be relation dependent to parameters that control each of the tools we make, and the part selection query based similar to the simplified rep.
