Export dxf direct from 3d models without creating a Creo drawing. Creo 3.0 has this option, but it is creating a facet model only, exporting to many lines which can not be used in programming a laser cutting machine for example.
We can find this option in SolidEdge where the flat of a bended part can be saved in dxf direct from the 3D module without creating a drawing, improving in this way the time-consuming in CAD-CAM relation. In this way we can start the cutting of the parts in the same time with the working of the designer to the drawings necessary for the bending, welding, assembly etc. Basically we can start production before the project is finalized.
