We would like to be able to output the results of a ‘recorder’ file (in CED Modeling) as a generic viewable (i.e AVI, mp4 etc…) - similar to some form of screen capture function,

You can use Screen-O-Matic to capture video from screen.

s soon as you are able to "Play a sequence of commands" in CED Modeling,

the rest is a matter of a Video Recorder of your choice.

There are several Freeware Versions out there in the Internet.
