Allow not chained edges to be selected by CRTL pick, Avoiding the creation of unnecessary features.
A good addition to the EXTEND feature, would be some kind of EDGE SET collection (similar to round/chanfer) that allow different extend values.
Did you try to create an IntentChain using the Datum Reference Feature?
What's your use case? (e.g. which features would you feed these reference to?)
