Family Table access to 'Verification Status' parameter from Creo

Family Table access to 'Verification Status' parameter from Creo

Working with Creo and Windchill, you could have an assembly with a family table instance not verified:

I would like to have a column in the Model Tree with the values of 'Verification Stataus' in order to know that I am working with 'unverified instance'.

Config option verify_on_save_by_default yes helps you to verify before save, but I want access to the parameter 'Verification Statatus' from Creo, because it could be that this component is not new, was created by other user and now has 'released' Status in Windchill...

Thank you very much

Thank you for publishing your idea. We need more information as specified in the form you saw in the submission process. (questions below). The more details and context you give to document your idea, the better. Think about ways to educate and convince other Community members to support your idea and present your case to the product management team for consideration.

Please let us know within the next two weeks.

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.

2. What product & version are you currently running?

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.

4. What is the use case for your organization?

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?

Additionally, I invite you to check out this topic where 2 PTC executives explain product managers' approach to customer ideas and input for product roadmaps.

Hi @olivierlp

I am not going to answer all this questions, how much time will take me to open a new idea? one hour?

I think it should be an optional request.

Like the questions or not, PTC has decided that in order for any idea to move forward, these questions MUST be answered.

PTC has no obligation to implement any customer suggestion. They will implement a suggestion if it helps generate new sales. If the suggestion only makes life easier for existing customers, do not hold your breath waiting for it to be implemented.

Some of those questions are needed to understand what level of software your company is currently using. A suggestion from someone using Windchill 9 and Wildfire will not get as much attention as someone using Windchill 12 and Creo 8.

The question take about 8 minutes to enter, as Nike says 'Just Do It'.
