Today in Creo elements direct you can find the center of circles Arcs and lines ussng control-shift. Why not extend this to a box or ovals/ellipse/spline elements?
Probably because those, except for the ellipse, are not simple defined geometric entities. They are composed of other simple entities. For example, what exactly is a "box"? Is that only fully orthogonal rectangles, or does the definition extend to any geometric shape with four linear sides? How would the program know you are selecting the box and not one of its sides? Is the "center" equivalent to the centroid of the enclosed area, or is there some other definition?
Similarly, what is the "center" of a spline? Is it in terms of arc length along the spline, or something else?
