The hole note will update with changes if you select the reset button on the note tab while editing the hole just like it updates when you first create the hole. Selecting the reset button can be mapkeyed, but then the users have to be disciplined enough to use the mapkey to edit a hole every time which is not practical. You may be able to use AutoIT to monitor if the HOLE tab is opened in the ribbon, and run the mapkey when the tab appears, but again, this may not be practical.
A config option to control the automatic update would be helpful.

A config option to control the creation of the note in the first place would also be helpful.
hole_note_create yes/no
In addition to the note updating automatically, it would be helpful if any additional text the user may have added to the note outside of the hole functionality would kept when the hole note is updated. Users frequently add additional text to the notes like SEE NOTE 10 and the like. Currently, when the note is reset, all additional text is wiped out.
I really like your suggestions. The ability to have the note automatically update is much more important now that Creo supports unique callouts for every possible option. (Creo Parametric Help Center)
