At present when the cursor pauses on a threaded hole, the flyby text shows "ThreadedHole". In order to find out the diameter of the threaded hole it is necessary to look at the 3D text.
The flyby should show the diameter of the threaded hole.
In the case of a metric hole, the flyby text should show the M-size (e.g. M6).
There is an unsupported command that can be used to do that:
(elan::prim-show-diameter-in-tooltip t); show as diameters
(elan::prim-show-diameter-in-tooltip nil); show as radii (default)
All this unsupported command does is to change the display from radius to diameter.
When the cursor pauses on a threaded hole, it still shows only that it is a threaded hole. It does not display the radius (or diameter).
It is still necessary to change the context to a surface (using the additional options) in order to get the radius (or diameter) displayed.
This should not be necessary. It should be made possible that the flyby text automatically shows the radius (or diameter) without having to change the context to a surface.
