Fonts in Modeling, Drafting and Annotation.

Fonts in Modeling, Drafting and Annotation.

In CAD applications should be no fonts loaded from "C: \ Windows \ Fonts". It should be only loaded fonts which PTC in the installation provides.
Note:
There is a very large source of error in the CAD data exchange

While the above may make sense to some customers it does not make sense to others.

I know of customers who are *buying* certain Fonts from suppliers.

Some customers even buy "custom fonts" with special characters, company logo etc

All these fonts are delivered as Windows Fonts, and by placing these Fonts under

C:\WindowsFonts they are automatically used by CAD (e.g. Drafting) and can be placed

on Drawings (Drafting and Annotation drawings).

The only requirement is that a customer distributes "his" fonts to all machines,

so that all CAD users will have the fonts available.

Of course this will not work when Drawings are sent to external companies who do

NOT have the custom Windows Fonts available.
