With providing basic dimensions like for Block using Height, width and length, Software should create the model.
We can draw the direct Block, Sphere, Cylinder, Cone options to create a new model without using sketch option.
NX has the same approach
Create template parts for basic shapes that have all of your company standard information (parameters, relations, etc) already in the template.
Once created, you would go to File - New - (key in the filename) - then choose the appropriate option.
Thank you for information😁
I think this is very useful, specially for people who would like to try to do script programming to on-the-fly generate geometry. The current method that exists that is ketch based is way too complex from a programming point of view. We have to cretate an aempty sketch, cancel it, then create the feature, and only after can we add geometry to the sketch This is beyond the programming skills of most of the potential Creo suers with some knowledge of programming. But most would easily use a scripting language, like Python, and create basic geometry (cube, cylinder, holes, etcO), based on simple function parameters. Even if the geometry is "dumb", like an imported geometry, and would not have dimensions to be edited after creation. Only the primitive parameters would be parametrically editable via function scripting.
