I request that View Names (View Labels) be automatically inserted for ALL types of drawing views (especially for General Views), not just detail and aux views.
There should also be ways to manually insert/reinsert view labels should they not show up or are deleted.
Besides having a direct view label insertion function, please allow the drawing parameter &view_name to work when used in Notes. The Note can then be used as a customizable/multi-line view label and display the view name the note is attached to/within or related to (Annotate>Relate to Object).
"Besides being able to change the relative position fix of view labels anywhere around their associated drawing views"
as it is already doable.
This is necessary. Even with options like make_aux_view_notes and make_proj_view_notes, there's got to be a way to insert a view name after the fact if the view was created without the note originally. Otherwise, the whole view has to be recreated just for the note!
The drawing view properties dialog should simply have a toggle for display of view name, right next to the veiw name input box.
what about specifiing a customized symbol for views?
