actual section preview for different material/standard to be added in hatch pattern tab, currently its like user can only see after add into component, if its not what user looking for user need to add it again and see, this will consume time and repetitive work

suggested idea can save time and easy for user to select actual section pattern in one shoot

I like the idea and did vote for it.

While you are waiting for the change (may be a long wait), hatch patterns are pretty standard so you can google them and if you are doing this often, print out pages for reference. I found this one with a quick internet search.

Creo 9.0 introduced a major overhaul to the way that you can edit the hatching properties in your drawings.

There are many improvements that will make your life easier so you should check out the what's new pages:

You will find that the new hatch gallery will answer the requirement of this product idea, however as the above links shows, there is much more that we have done for this area in Creo 9.0
