In larger assemblies would be nice, if there would be an option to select few parts an then hide all unselected parts(or like in simp rep. revert selection).
For example: You select 3 out of 300 parts and hide all 297 parts.

Hello, this is basically the "isolate" feature os solidworks, wich exists for several versions ago, just saying....

This is possible to (kind of) do this already; read through this thread:
Very painful switching from SolidWorks to Pro/E
Essentially, you can select the component(s) to be isolated, right click and select "Set Representation to" -> "Master"
This will make a temporary "Master Rep(+)" simpified rep which you can save or revert back to the old state through the View Manager.
Not surprisingly, it's next to impossible to discover this method on your own...

Hide All except Selected functionality is available in Creo Direct 3.0, but not in Creo Parametric 3.0
Hi everyone,
This functionality was introduced in Creo 5.0, in which you can select multiple components and then select Show Only.
