In Creo, Can we measure center to center distance between two unsymmetrical / symmetrical feature for example distance between the center of two ribs, wall etc.
I already post an issue in "All Places > Creo > Discussions". There are some ways suggested by people like creating datum point on feature, or in case feature is symmetric we can measure the their end to end wall distance. This way it will unnecessarily prolong model tree and if an another person who want to work on that part in future these extra model tree features will not indicate their true purpose and may create confusion for him.
It will be great if Creo will automatically highlight mid point for such feature so we can measure the center distance between the future without adding any datum points/feature.
Please see the snapshot. Snapshot include rib only. In practical cases feature could be anything like plastic part snap on and rib.
