Inquire Brackets of Dimensions

It is currently not possible to inquire brackets of existing dimensions.

For purposes of quality control, it is necessary to inquire brackets of existing dimensions.

Hello Ralf,

In Drafting you have the possibility to inquire this with the function INQ_ELEM
| | 902/903 | dimension prefix text (s) |
| | 904/905 | postfix-dimensional text (s) |

I've tried in the v17 and it works.
INQ_ELEM  enter then click on dimension
display (INQ 902) enter results in a dimension with brackets  '('  and display (INQ 904) enter ')'

If no prefix or postfix is present then the answer is 'END-OF-LIST'

Unfortunately, this is not a solution.

Brackets are created with CHANGE_DIM_TEXTS MAIN_ALL BRACKETS ON. This command creates no prefix or postfix.

An other workaround

DA_STYLE_GET updates the current dimensioning style settings to match the settings of a selected dimensioning element.
DA_STYLE_GET and click on the dimension.

Then you can ask with INQ_ENV 16
display (INQ 602)  current bracket flag of main dimension text
             - ON, bracket is ON  - OFF, bracket is OFF

That will work. It just needs to finally reset the default setting for dimensions. Good idea! Thank you!
