Make it possible to "enter" or "middle mouse button" the resume button on a mapkey.

Make it possible to "enter" or "middle mouse button" the resume button on a mapkey.

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.
Construction, Lead engineer, all engineers

2. What version of Creo Parametric are you currently running?
7.0.5.0

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
When you make a mapkey and there is a need for user input you get a small window with a "Resume" and "Cancel" button below the message to the user. The "Resume" button is highlighted but when pressing the Enter key (on the keyboard) or pressing the scroll wheel, nothing happens. It would be convenient when it highlighted "Resume" button could also be pressed with the enter key or scroll wheel.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
This speeds up the mapkeys, especially when there is a lot of user input needed.

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
Speedup the mapkeys.

I just tested both the MMB and Enter key in the Mapkey Paused window in Creo Parametric 7.0.2.0, and it selects the Resume key as expected.  The only catch is the Mapkey Paused window needs to be the active window first.

You are right.... but then I still need to click on the window (to activate the window) and then press enter so that's a click more than a click on the button 🙂

Sounds like part of the issue is Windows related.  The mapkey window needs to be active at the end of whatever is being done during the pause.  I tried this with one of my maykeys ad found that I had to change the window focus as @dnocon indicated.  I then tried the windows shortcut Alt+Tab to switch the active window.  One Alt+Tab did the trick and I could press enter to continue the mapkey.  This method may require more than one Alt+Tab depending on what windows you used during the pause.

Could be windows related but when you place for example a snap line, you get the old menu on the top left (still not integrated in the ribbon bar but that's another thing...) this keeps reacting on the scroll wheel button even if its not the "active window" so it looks like it is possible.

Hello

You must have the possibility in a macro to make an entry, keyboard, mouse, menu, and that the macro-command continues until the end without having to select the "Resume" window

Advantage: Limit the number of clicks

Bonjour

Il faut avoir la possibilité dans une macro de faire une entrée, clavier, souris, menu, et que la macro-commande continue jusqu'à la fin sans avoir à sélectionner la fenêtre "Reprendre"

Avantage: Limiter le nombre de clics
