Make the Ribbon work when going into print mode

Make the Ribbon work when going into print mode

Do you also have this problem:

When selecting print, the preview (bugged) opens, but the ribbon does not.

You have to click on the ribbon to get the right ribbon.

also, the drawing is badly placed, but it is printed correct.

after printing and closing, the ribbon again does not refresh.

you have to click at any ribbon to go back. otherwise the rest of the ui (workspace) behaves as if freezed...

(Creo 3.0 M10 upwards)

anybody has the same problem and waits for PTC to solve this?

They talk all about solutions and experiencing all kind of stuff, i experience alltime and allday frustration when i use this Crapduct.

Yes, we are having the exact same issue with both M020 and M030.  We opened a case but tech support was unwilling to keep it open since we run "unsupported" systems.  Keep in mind, all the components used in our systems are fully supported, it's just that our vendor has decided that spending $10,000 to get "certified" every time a new maintenance release comes out isn't cost effective for his small business.

Review the list of certified systems on PTCs website, then try loading the driver version that matches the graphics card you use with what is used in the certified systems.  Good luck!

Thank you for your advice.

I use certified workstations from HP.

Me and my colleges are having all this (and more) problems.

i used the grafic driver that is said to be the proven one.

guess what... i does not work better. the system is even slower with that driver.

the administrator is not feasible at the moment and i do not know what that SCN Number is all about.. otherwise i would have opened a call. but i know where that leads to..

i see all those open problems and ho wlong they exist, and the list keeps growing.

you did well in saving your money, because with all that spent extra money, this software will not run any tick better and all the bugs are still there..

If you go to Help --> System Information, Creo will display your Service Contract Number (SCN) right at the top.  Assuming you're current on maintenance, you can use that number to file a support case.

thanks you very much.

unfortunately, after i put in the SCN and copy and paste the thing from above into the report window and press send, guess what:

i have to contact the reseller for that problem.

a) it would be great if this is told me before i write down my description...

b) i know the reseller just wants to sell and make money. now, i also know they won't hwlp for free - and this is the problem.

such a core functionality shall be all inclusive.

so here we (all) have a problem, but they are not going to fix this!

me myself would abandon this product.
