ModelCheck - check for Missing Internal References in Features!

ModelCheck - check for Missing Internal References in Features!

I can't believe this isn't part of modelcheck.

There is a check that looks for missing references for Annotation Elements, but NOT for missing references within normal features that are internal to the part itself. I have a case where a user created a hole in a sheetmetal part that went to a depth that referenced a surface. Something happened and that surface no longer exists.

  • ModelCheck doesn't flag it.
  • There are no regeneration warnings or errors
  • Full regeneration works fine.

YET...

  • If you redefine the feature, you can't press the green check to complete the feature without fixing the missing reference.
  • Also, if your design intent changes, the feature will not update properly...

And this isn't in ModelCheck (or a warning in the message window).

Any chance we can get this added sooner than later? Users are releasing models with missing internal references!
