wmproperties.lst contains a lot of (UI) user preferences settings, that should not be edited. Make these settings open for administrators/users, by
- implement a “preference style” syntax that can be put into the XML file
- user can change these predefined settings
- Allow to protect certain settings (also a feature of a preference)
- Allow to reset user settings to defaults in XML
