Modeling has a great customization facility, that ca be used to customize the Structure Browser, to show up the user both MODEL NAME and INSTANCE NAME. MODEL NAME more often used as a NAME or REFERENCE, while INSTANCE NAME is rather a DESCRIPTION, while in some circumstances (not shared parts) INSTANCE NAME can be MODEL NAME. When PDF 3D are produced to be used by non-Modeleing educated people, it would be nice they distinguish in the Adobe Reader Structure Browser both these 2 definitions. MODEL NAME can help them to refernce parts while INSTANCE NAME may help them to locate the part in the assembly.
Currently only standard eDrawings production is able to show both MODEL NAME and INSTANCE NAME. PDF 3D and PVZ not.
It would be great that all viewable production could be customized to adapt the Modeling Structure Browser appearance.
