Example: if I start from a structure model to obtain a new one, I copy at one level and then unshare

items to modify.

In this case the where 4 feets are shared, to modify heigt is needed:

-Delete 3 feets of 4

-unshare one of those at one level and then unshare the parts to modify

Make the modification

And share again the correct feet.

As you can see is needed more time for the structure management than in modification.

The idea is a command that gives new ID to parts.

I mean something different from the one actually in Model Manager, because the new function will be:

Change ID only to the object

Change ID to all the components in session

Change ID only to the shared in an assembly

It will have the same action of copy at first level and delete original.

Will be very helpful to change the ID of parts in modification with the options:

This command will save a lot of time.

With the same concept can be developed an option in unshare command which could unshare all the

elements with the same ID inside an assembly.

You make a copy of the part to be changed and the Lisp replaces the selected shared parts

will be helpful also change ID to all the shared in an assembly, I don't know if it does, but for sure the video shows what I meant.

I'm glad that the video addresses your wish. 

The answer to your question is a definite Yes! The AI Unshare and Group function also has an "Shared in Assembly" option (you can see the option in the video) that will unshare and group all of the objects in a chosen assembly that are shared with the selected object.  It allows you to choose any assembly as the target (default is the parent assembly of the selected object).
