This will require the PTC Creo Diagnostic Tools to send some attributes/parameters with system/session data, that can be user defined and Performance Advisor to allow filtering by those attributes.
Also, as was mentioned in this comment in another product idea 6078, some of this information is already being collected by the performance advisor (if you've chosen to allow it.) PTC claims they do not allow upload of user information portion to prevent potential legal issues.***
*** Yes, the entire "system_info.xml", including the section containing the user information, IS being uploaded to PTC (apps.ptc.com). This is verifiable with Fiddler (or any other packet sniffer). So, technically they do collect the ALL of the data, they just don't let us see it from the dashboard. (I imagine that it's possible that after the upload is processed they could choose to discard the user information portion, but it definitely does get uploaded.
I have updated the FAQ article CS226497 with links to the product idea and to the specific article CS228994 about the need to provide attributes to filter a group of users for example by department, site or project.
And yes, of the three personal data related attributes that are intentionally not sent (see CS202100), at least the domain name might help filtering groups of people (if they have a domain different from other users). But basically this is a different kind of issue than sending data, which can be customized by the user, which is basically the needed to filter by site, department, project or whatever criteria the admin wants to go for.
I need to re-check, but as far as I know, the information is stripped from the data when sent. If I look into zip files containing system_info.xml, the clear text user, host and domain name appears to be removed (at least for me), while the unarchived system_info.xml contains it.
