dxfdwg.exe translator is a 32 bit application.
In some cases, the mi files to be translated in dwg is more than 700 Mbytes. dxfdwg cannot handle this huge quantity of data.
The mi file must be split in pieces, which is is difficult and takes time. The person who receives the dwg files must assemble the pieces, which is not easy too. This can be a source of errors.
It would be great if we had a 64 bit version of dxfdwg.
Information from GS team. It seems in R19.0 dxfdwg.exe translator support 64-bit Win 7/8.
Yes, I confirm; Version 19 is 64 bits. Even drafting is 64 bits!
