When creating a new view under Orient / Orient By Reference the original setup is lost when redefining it. This even occurs when it is originally set up if Reference 1 and 2 are switched. It would be useful to change Reference 1 and 2 without having either or both lose their selection.
It would also be helpful to have a separate control in the Orient By Reference setup to define the views zoom level and position. As it is, all view pan and zoom setup is lost when redefining. Although some of this is covered in Dynamic Orient, the Dynamic Orientation controls are not connected to the Orient By Reference controls and so if the user wants to use both, it is not possible because all references are lost when changing to the other orient setup.
It is a real problem when the orient by reference information is lost because the data will not update if the defining references are changed.
