1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.

I'm working in the metal mechanic sector in the North of Italy in a company that counts 60 people and 20 coworkers in Italy.
I'm the office manager of a 8 people in the Mechanical Departement.
We sell automatized wharehouses and transport systems to pharmacies, hospitals and dealers.


2. What version of Creo Parametric are you currently running?

We are using Creo 8.0.4 with Windchill.


3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
We changed tha CAD last year. Before we used Solidworks 2020.
I want to suggest a little improvement: the possibility to open a part from an assembly with the same orientation that this part has in the assembly.
It is simply very useful in each kind of situation.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
There isn't "a use case" because it would be useful everyday in avery kind of sector.

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
It would be an increment of velocity in the CAD use; at the and it would be an increment of productivity as all thing that simplify the user experience.

This would be extremely useful when working with symmetrical parts.  I can't count how many times I, or someone I work with, adds an extrude to the wrong end/ side of a part.  This would also aid in making sure the parts are added in a model the same way in anticipation of a design change down the line.
