Option to collapse model tree when graphic window is selected (multi level)

When a part is selected in an assembly the model tree will expand to show you where the part is located. When the part is deselected, the model tree stays open. it would be nice to have the option for the model tree to collapse or give the user an option other than collapse all.

unfortunately the entry is very old ☹️

this function would be very helpful, because the model tree quickly becomes confusing in larger assemblies.

in creo 8 the view has become even more confusing.

partially it works as long as you only select parts, but when you select a design feature the tree remains unfolded.
