Currently there is no way to map user defined colors to different pens in the pen table. This forces all user defined colors to plot using Pen #1. It would be nice to set the user defined colors to a new pen (in our case so that we can set no color and have the PDF inherit the user defined color of the symbol). Currently there is no way to do that.
The ASME standards now allow for colors to be used in drawings and our engineers would like to use custom symbols with custom colors on drawings and create the PDF properly, where geometry lines (Pen #1) are all black and the custom symbols retain their original color.
