At the moment there is no way to control the quality of the PDF U3D (3D PDF Export) from Creo directly in the Options dialog. Sometimes this leads to missing elements.
A PTC call revealed that the config option "shade_quality" also affects the quality of the PDF U3D Export. In our case changing it from 3 to 5 resolved the issue. However this is not at all an intuitive way of taking care of the problem. Therefore I propose to add a quality setting or slider to the Options dialog.
