If we perform save as to a part or assembly we can get the option of ".pvz" while working in workspace on PLM servers in creo 7.0. We do not have the option of save as ".pvs", ".edz" etc. while working on PLM servers in Creo 7.0. The PVS format of any part or assembly may I have lighter version of the part or the assembly.
The size of the PVZ format is much higher than the size of PVS format.
The data sharing of the parts or assemblies will become much easier as the size of PVS file is much lighter than the PVZ format.
We do have the option of save as in PVS format in the offline mode but we do not have the option of save as in PVS format while working on servers.
Please add this option in "save as" while working in workspace on PLM servers in Creo 7.0.
