Parent Selection - model name needs to appear in the message area

DESCRIPTION:

Using the mini-toolbar select from parent list and selecting the parent, the parent model name should appear in the message area.  When you select a part in the graphics window, the selected model name appears in the message area.  But when selecting the parent from the list, the parent does not show up in the message area even though the parent is selected in the model tree.

Related config option that supposedly turns on the message log selection, but it does not work when parents are selected

JUSTIFICATION:

1. In Creo 2.0 when you select a part in the graphics window, you can right-click --> Select Parent and the parent model name appears in the message area.  PTC took this function away in Creo 5.0
2. We use this function a LOT in order to copy and paste part numbers (model names) into our PLM system, into emails, IMs, presentations...everywhere.
