In Creo there are a number of yellow information/warning boxes that appear. Some of these we can permanently remove, but others keep coming back in subsequent sessions of Creo.
There are basically two types of messages:
“Don’t ask me again” – An example of this is the “New to Creo Parametric? Creo provides content to help you get started faster…” which is the dialog seen the first time Creo is started. If we choose ‘Don’t ask me again’ this is recorded in the creo_parametric_customization.ui file, so in subsequent sessions this informational warning doesn’t appear again.
“In the future, do not show this message” – An example of this is out-of-context selection while in Drawing or Flexible Modelling: “To select the object hold down the Alt key…” These messages are not recorded in the creo_parametric_customization.ui file, so this means each subsequent session the informational warning message appears again.
So this idea is focussing on the second type of warnings and making those dialogs never appear again.
