Please make imports into Creo Layout parametric

I would like a parametric handshake in taking models through Creo Layout.

The loop presently involves me importing a model cross section into Creo Layout.  I then use this 2d import to develop my needed tooling.  When the 2d layout for tooling is developed I will bring this into my downstream die model.

The parametrics going downstream from Creo Layout to the die works because the copy geometry will change in the die.

Unfortunately there is no parametrics when taking the model in to Creo Layout.  If something gets changed in the originating model this has to be manually modified or reinserted into Creo Layout.

Below is an example of the model section I would like to insert in Creo Layout with the change circled.

Below is my Creo Layout drawing which has not changed.

Almost everything in Creo Parametric has a parametric flow through; please make imports into Creo Layout parametric.

There should be an option to "link" or "embed"  the importing x-section, like there is in Creo Illustrate...
