with version 2000i arrows can be added to the broken view, but with 2001 and upper the message log says "Offset x-section arrows may not be shown on broken views".
It is very important for severals customer to display offset x-section arrows in this way, and that sketching them as a workaround is not acceptable.
related to the SPR 997666 R&D states that the methodology employed in earlier releases 2000i did not work, in a rather serious way, and it was decided that it was better to disallow them than to show incorrect information to the user. And this functionality cannot be safely developed outside of a scheduled project in a development release, please schedul a new project in order to impliment this functionality
