ProModelitemByNameInit API should return modelitem for feature created with default name

I had opened a support case with this ID & received the following reply,

In the model database, the feature is not recognized using default name.

A feature can be initialized only by using the name explicitly assigned by the user.

Only for Datums (planes, axis, CSYS), Creo explicitly assigns a permanent name,

that can be initialized using its default name by using ProModelitemByNameInit().

So your issue is work-specification, need to change the feature name.

At present, this API returns PRO_TK_E_NOT_FOUND error for features created using default name.

We cannot ask all our customers to edit each creo model & rename every such feature.

Therefore, requesting you to consider this as an Enhancement Request.
