The stereotypes currently have the ‘On Delete’ event exposed on them, allowing them to specify the action when the delete key is selected. If this could be exposed for the symbols on the diagrams then we would have the flexibility to determine the action when the del key is used for a symbol on the diagram. This would enable the profile developers to handle the 4 different delete options (i.e. Delete, Delete from Model, Delete Redefinition from Model and Delete Top Level Definition from Model) in a way that is relevant to the profile.
