Projecting Curves or Edges in Sketcher

While in Sketcher, when selecting curves or edges of type 'loop' from a surface to project onto the sketching plane, 'SEL CHAIN' must be stepped through for each chain and individually 'Accepted'.  For complex surfaces with many features, this can be confusing and time-consuming.  To the 'Type' menu 'Select Use Edge', add a menu item for 'All' that will pre-select and highlight all the curves and edges , and then allow the ability to easily select or de-select from the highlighted features

This will be addressed (implicitly) by an ongoing development project that targets to enhance project & offset tools in Sketcher. You will then be able to leverage regular chain/loop selection and referencing workflows. This  will significantly enhance the workflows in general, but in particular likely also address your example where the sketch references would then be projected loops of the characters of your logo which will make this example work. 

In parallel, there is another implementation ongoing (Divide-Surface) that will allow to significantly ease the emboss-workflow, anyway.

The feature enhancement/s that I proposed, have not been "Delivered" in the Modernized Project and Offset Tools in Sketcher (ptc.com) .

While the Modernized Sketcher Tool provides some interesting abilities, it falls short of enhancements that increase usability.  

1.  Requires added mouse movement and selections.

2.  No longer provides the ability to select every element of a previous sketch with a single loop selection.

3.  Still does not provide the selection of all edges of a surface with a single surface selection.

The Modernized Project and Offset Tools in Sketcher (ptc.com)  provides some useful selection processes while taking a step backward, or failing to deliver other useful selection processes.
