In AAX, it should be possible to publish a sketch, and in the part that have received this copy, it should be allowed to extrud it (or create any other feature), without the need to project it to a new sketch.
When using the published sketch in a Copy Goemetry feature, the sketches should be able to be selected directly in the 3D graphics window, and / or also be listed and selectable below the Copy Geometry feature in the model tree. When using the inheritance feature, we can already select directly the sketches in the model tree, if we "expand" the Inheritance feature, and use those sketches to do extrudes, revolves, etc. Apparently there is no reason to not to be able to share skeches via (external) Copy Geometry. Sharing sketches via references and picking individual lines is not ideal, since if we add additional lines to the sketch, they are not automatically added to the copy geometry feature.
Other problem with trying to copy geometry from sketches, is when we whant to use sketches to share points for patterns, for holes for instance. When we try to copy a sketch entities, we could click the "Chain" option, and after make a query to select all the sketch geometry... but unforttunately, it only works for lines, arcs, etc, and they all have to be connected. Points are excluded, and they have to be manually selected as "References", and this is not a parametric way of working, since if we delete or add more points in the sketch, they are not automatically updated in the external copy geometry.
