Dear all,
did you ever had the necessity to create a rectangular flange drillet with a constant step from a specific distance from edge where first and last step are different from middle steps but have to be equal and equally calculate depending of available space?
Example :
1) drilling of rectangular shell :
...now I'm doung this with my UDF...but is incredible that CreoParamteric can not do a patter, based on a rectangular sketch for instance with defined step distance from user, by equally distribute first and last steps (in this case should be helpful a parametr to define which is the minumun acceptable firts/last dimension >> i.e. minumun 1/2 of defined step distance ).
By defining minimun/maximum allowed first/last step distance the system can calculate number of "entire" middle steps of the pattern.
This should be done indipendently both for "X" and "Y" dimensions of rectangle.
2) Same concept for pattern used to distribute parts/assemblies ... i.e. studs oe crews :
Thanks,
BR
