When importing a large assembly, every component is getting a geometry check error "Original import surfaces have been split into highlighted pieces due to G2 discontinuities." This causes issues when show_geom_checks_on_creation is set to yes. We are talking about hundred and hundred of files. In addition, we have a very strict policy about geometry checks. Yet, when I go to edit the import feature, and just press the check box, the geometry check error goes away! Why? Can we prevent the geom check from coming up to begin with if it isn't 'real'?
According to CS242220, this is common when importing files generated from solidworks. I don't care whether a cylindrical surface was split into two by Creo. This is more of an FYI. It should definitely not give me a geometry error.
We don't want the user pressing the CONTINUE button hundreds of times when importing these large assemblies. Please help!
Thanks!
