Reorder a component's position in the model tree while in insert mode to a location in between suppressed components

Need the ability to reorder a component's position in the model tree while in insert mode to a location in between suppressed components of to the end of the model tree.

With the example below I would have to cancel out of insert mode then drag the highlighted component to the end of the model tree and then go back into insert mode.
(Note: it would be ok if when the component is reordered if it is suppressed temporary by the insert mode)
