Replace Mapkeys with VBA/Excel.

The more I try to use Mapkeys, the more I dislike them. VBA in Excel as it's a great tool for repetitive tasks that has ability to link to other programs/databases as needed. PTC implemented a VB API in WF4 so it seems like it's a small jump for them to add VBA support.

VBA:

• Code is less likely to break and easier to build a community of users.
• Link to outside databases/programs
• Amazing documentation support from Microsoft and the whole world of VBA users.
• Record button clicks
• More robust tool set (for loops, if-then statements, etc)
• More concise and easier to edit code
• Most users have a free editor for VBA through Excel

Mapkeys:

• Record button clicks
• Easy to share with outside contractors through config.pro

I would rather ask PTC to allow programming mapkeys directly and to document the commands used in mapkeys better. The most annoying in mapkey recording is the dependance on the ribbon-tabs and on the specific modes that are new in Creo. This seems to me much worse than before in Wildfire.

A comment: I would recommend that you add some Tags like: Mapkey, VBA, Visual Basic,

Otherwise nobody will find your idea and therefore nobody can vote for it.
