I know of many people who run Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Model Manager on laptops. At their desk they have two displays, and utilize most of both when running Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Model Manager (windows from both on both displays to increase the usuable area). If you undock your laptop you go down to 1 screen, but Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Model Manager still remember the positions of the windows as if both displays were available. As a result, some windows are not visible and may be difficult to get back to where they are visible (some windows, like the Browser bar, cannot be moved if you can't select it-which you can't do if you can't see it).
I would like Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Model Manager to be smart enough so that if the number of displays is changed, the positions of the sub-windows reset their position so that they show up on the visible display. Ideally, I would like to see a toggle so that the positions toggle between a 2-display mode and a 1-display mode. If this has to be a manual toggle, that would be acceptable (Window->Display Mode->1 Display/2 Displays).
