The text on a drawing is not searchable when you export it in Drafting to PDF format.

I would suggest to make it possible to convert the text to searchable text entities when you export it.

Are you talking Drafting in Creo? There are a couple of ways to make text searchable. One is to use TrueType fonts. The other is to Stroke fonts and make them searchable.
