Creo 3.0 has a new Flexible modeling pattern option. Which is in some case handy, don’t get me wrong.

But when creating large patters it gets very slow. +- 6 times slower than in Creo 2.0. Done some test with 1600 holes in Creo 2.0 and 3.0 with the different options.

So please set the fastest method as standard, or let people chose via a setting.
